Who we are
India Fintech (https://www.indiafintech.org) is an independent news site about financial technology in India. Questions about this policy can be sent to hello@indiafintech.org.
What we collect
Newsletter. If you sign up for the newsletter, we collect your email address and, if you give it, your name. We use them only to send the weekly newsletter. Every issue has an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to remove you by email.
Contact form. If you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address and message. We use them to reply to you and keep them only as long as needed to deal with your message.
Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider records technical data such as IP addresses, browser type and the pages requested. This is used for security and to keep the site running.
Cookies
We do not use advertising cookies. WordPress and our hosting provider may set technical cookies that the site needs to work, such as cookies used for security checks or for logged-in editors.
Comments
Comments are switched off, so we do not collect comment data.
Links and images
Our articles link to original sources on other websites. Those sites have their own privacy policies. Images are served from our own site, with credits to their photographers.
Who we share data with
We do not sell personal data. Newsletter addresses are stored with the email service we use to send the newsletter. We share data only with providers that help us run the site and the newsletter, or where the law requires it.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you by emailing hello@indiafintech.org.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date above.
